@TheSonnenallee This was the Orchestra Nationala Radio (or The National Radio Orchestra [of Romania]). This recording was made in 1995, I think - at least, that's the only date I can find anywhere on the cd cover.

@mrdutchmandan More correctly again: almost all classical music (going back even to some medieval music) has syncopation and rhythmic intensity. Each style just has different ways of using it.
