Here's a song I wrote a while back, played at a higher key than usual, mainly to practice singing in higher registers. My interpretation:
It's a cool night. I'm sitting on top of a roof and just staring at the stars above. I zone out, and feel like I'm floating through space. Shooting stars and meteors fly above me. Fireworks of all sorts of colors and shapes fill the sky. Then it all disappears, and I'm once again staring at a simple sky with stars, and I fall asleep...
