Being that we are not going to change each others minds on this topic, I am just going to end my point with this.  When we start taking things away from the Bible we start going down dangerous territory, which may affect your salvation. if God did not create life on earth in 7 days there is no Sabbath. No Sabbath, no need for the Commandments, no Commandments no law. no law, no trangresssion. No transgression no need for a savior. No need for a savior no need to change. no need to change, no need for a God. I would encourage you to read Romans 1:19-24. Here you will see this is not a new phenomena, but an old belief modified.

I will brother! thanks for the advice. I do agree that their is no conflict between religion and science. I love science. There is a major conflict between evolution and religion. On the micro level we do see evolution, on the macro level there are gaps that can't and won't be connected. Being the accepted definition for evolution includes changes to a species over millions of years there is a problem. In genetics, you must admit, we are dealing with a complete system. Sure we can work backwards and try and find the starting point, but this is theoretical science where proofs are created out of assumption. The more I am learning, the more holes I am finding in it.

And I don't know what you've been reading that says genetics proves it wrong, no it doesn't. I'm a geneticist. Read a genetics book for starters.

I can't find your comment but I must tell you, there is no conflict between religion and science. The only conflict is caused by people who are unwilling to find the truth. Evolution did happen, there are entire libraries of evidense devoted to it,so much so that evolution in itself has been defined as fact by everyone who acutally knows what evolution is. The only conflict between science, religion and reality comes from not reading books and broadening your understanding. Not to bredisrespectful but the fact that you said the there exists faith in science tells me you don't know the mechanisms of science noe understand the mechanisms of evolution. You just have a vague idea of what it is and thats whats in violoation with your religious beliefs even though religion and science are harmonius.
