My World As I See It

I used to sit with family and friend
We'd laugh and smile and pretend
that life was good and courts were fair
and wealth abound for all to share.

The dream was there to be had by all
color tv, laptops, and shopping trips to the mall
and when we got home we'd sit and eat
and turn on the tv and put up our feet.

We watched big brother, survivor and dancing with the stars
and drool over commercials of expensive cars.

While that blue tinged light shone upon our face
out common sense fled to outer space.

Well groomed faces read us the news
and promised us we had nothing to lose
As they hypnotized us with their polished voices
and showed us just what were our choices.

Republican or Democrat
One does this the other that.
But really they are both the same
and then I learned it's all a game
to keep us dumb, drugged and silent
There's no need, they smiled, to be violent.

They smiled at us with smarmy smiles
decieved and lies with their evil wiles
and offered us their greasy hand
while working hard to steal our land.

They stole our homes, cars and money
and swore the future still was sunny
But the thing that really got to me
was when they stole our dignity.

And to the world made us all look bad
greedy, violent and just plain sad

My eyes then opened, I was awake
and realized their world was lies and fake
It was then I turned off my tv
and finally began to see.

I went in search of other news
and on youtube I found the clues
CNN, FOX and the BBC
were not about truth or the reality
of where our leaders are taking us
I said out loud, "They can't be serious!"

I surfed and searched and veiwed and read
until my eyes felt like they'd fall out my head.

The CIA got caught with a plane full of coke
It's what kept them from going broke
It's expensive to fight the war on drugs
says the spokesman as he shrugs.
To Mexico we sold a gun or two
but the ones who will pay for that will be me and you

If we dare to question them out loud
we will be hustled from the crowd
If you happen to be an older gent
that doesn't stop them from being violent.

If an uncomfortable question is then raised
they'll just opt to have you tazed.
Their message is loud and clear
if they can't lie they'll make us fear.

I've been told the truth will set me free
but that's not true, my friends won't even talk to me!
The truth has not set me free
It's made an exile out of me.

They shake their heads, smile sadly and say
my intelligence has certainly gone away.
I've become a conspiracy theory nut
and of their jokes I've become the butt.

The truth has left me standing out side
watching them on their fantasy ride.
Illegal wars and pre-emptive strikes.
What will be next? Our heads on pikes?

HAARP and earth quakes and oil spills
all kinds of birds and fish and animals kills
Aliens, flying saucers and funny lights
frightening us and causing fights
about who or what to believe
as our elect work hard to decieve

Yes the truth has set me free
and now I belong to a minority
Still I keep hoping and I pray
that soon all will listen to what our leaders really say
and hear the excuses and the lies
that are clearly reflected in their eyes

And then awaken and join the few
made up of people like me and you.
Charging them with crimes against humanity
and make them pay for their vanity.

I hate watching these evil demons running to and fro
disguised as shills, disinfo agents and cointelpro
They misled and lied to will have their fog lift
and there will be a great big shift

Control and power will be ours to take
then we can expose all that is fake

Too many good men have already died
Too many tears are being cried
Bill Cooper, John Todd and others are dead
Tell me, could it be something they said?

We will take back our lands, dignity and pride
and rebuild our lives with God at our side
The greatest trick satan had on his list
was to convince the world he doesn't exist.

Now people are laughed at, shunned and scorned
if they say they believe in the one who is horned
If in God you pray and your trust is placed
you're laughed at, abused, ridiculed and abased

There's many things even those awake won't speak of
like demons, Israel and God above
If you condemn, complain or critisze Israel
your credibility's attacked and your fate is sealed
because to do so means you're anti semantic and racist
a claim that simply has no basis

The truth needs to be pure, whole and complete
to leave any of it out is really a cheat
Let's make sure that Cooper Todd and Clay
didn't die in vain, okay?
