John Pring is 22 years old and currently resides in Brighton, England, where he studies songwriting and professional musicianship at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music. He has been playing the guitar and writing songs for about four years and has come incredibly far in such a relatively short amount of time; his guitar style has been referred to as exceptional and original

Somehow still unsigned, John has been gigging across Brighton for the last 8 months and is beginning to build a solid fan-base comprising of audiences and peers alike.

In the past 6 months, John has recorded a full length album called In The City with John Crick of Kingsomniac and a six song solo EP entitled A Few Simple Words.

John has had his music played in student films in both Brighton and Wales, put together several successful acoustic nights in Brighton and had three songs featured on Group30 Publishings compilation album.

In the last month, John has had 'Falter' included in the Brighton Waves Podcast, which can be downloaded from the August 2006 section at: www.brightonwaves.co.uk
