1. He went on a road trip that passed through teh American mid-west and accidentally got exposed to teh rage virus. Upon his return u were teh only 1 who noticed and had to terminate him with extreme prejudice with teh nearest weapon available, a chainsaw. You buried teh body in nine cemeteries.

Or.. 2. he got a job.
