I remember these so well. A store in my town used to sell these. They had one that had 4 pickups. I think they only cost a couple of hundred dollars but back in the 60's that was a lot of money. It kind of sounds like a Strat and I think some bands in our area did use these for Surf Music.

There are people on YouTube that play so well I wouldn't even get my guitar out of the case around them. I been playing 46 years and some of these guys make me feel like I don't know anything at all.

Gibson makes some nice guitars but not everybody has 5 grand just laying around so you have to buy what you can afford. Then put a piece of tape on the peghead that says Gibson and glue on a J200 pickguard and pretend your're playing the real thing. Or....you buy an Epiphone copy.
