Second thing: As those who knew me formerly are aware I am now an UPLOAD, having left behind the world of misery racked flesh in favour of digital immortality so y'see now you can't kill me no matter how much i want you or tempt you to, not without destroying the entire World Wide Wank. Now you could forgive yourself for thinking that an Uploaded cyber individual might be something perfect.. or at least nothing so very lamely half-assed, but hey here in cyberspace, just like heaven, well.. takes every kinda peeple, sabs? Plus if you're honest none of you can really justify being 'real', whatever that means, any more --- all that disease and physical decay.. so i guess soon enough you'll all be uploads like me --- can't really see the point in shillshallying.. might as well bite the bullet -- it's only digital.
So uh, 'Digital (dig-it-all) Love'. What's that about? Well, always did like a little polemic wid ma phunk (white-ass punk funk..not to be confused with anybody's fermenting entrepiernas.. ;) As some wag put it "porn-sex is something you can describe. The real dirty deal is something you can't " ) So what happens when every next generation, girl and boy alike wants their uh, lurve just like the Brazzers clips they got downloaded on their mobile? Was romance all just a bit too much fun? Excitement ..or just stupid? Aw I'm just a sourpuss. "Come in my Face Book friend.. you won't touch my soul.."

So uh where did I get the nerve to call this 'jazz'? Do tell me when you worked it out please. But hey don't forget all those jazz standards you love started out as a bunch of pop songs in their day. The writer of Autumn Leaves didn't necessarily have Herbie Hancock in mind. Plus y'know anyone who taught hissef all he knows is kind of entitled to call everything he does improvisation i'd guess.

When it comes to the music here -- a cusséd self-taught here before you, figuring that if it's any good it has to come natural, but if i wasn't this shitferbrains I'd have done the education thing, and i'd advise as much to anyone. I've played with college boy jazzers and practically none of 'em were stiffs, (then, none of them wrote "Rich Old Man".. ;) and we all know MIles was a Julliard boy. There's joy to be had in writing your own material if you don't play like Jaco P. (who played like Jaco P aaand wrote all his own tunes) but it can't amount to an excuse --- not until Jamie C's covering your tunes. To compose and play well is what i want -- that'll do fine --- kind of. Live performance is a whole deal i don't see so very clearly on the cards this lifetime.. so relax world.. it's just a vid.
