JOHNNY ROTTEN

Johnny Rotten was a phenomenon. An extraordinary iconographic figure, a unique personna, with perhaps the most photogenic face in music history. With a raspy camp voice and sneering expression he was more like some horrible animated alien doll than a human. A Jack Kirby comic book villain creation exploding to life with vitriolic energy.
He was an inspiration to a generation.
He was also fucking Hilarious.
Here he is at his best, for those who missed out all those years ago it is still easy to see why he left us all gaping in eager wonderment.
