I remember seeing them sing this on TV when I was very young. It was the first time I had heard the song which I rate as one of the prettiest songs ever composed.

In my opinion this cover is an improvement over the Everly Brothers original performance which I thought was pretty good at the time. To me it shows what talented composers the brothers were. Robert & Alison are great performers!

I always thought this song and "Sealed With a Kiss" would have been perfect for the Everly Brothers. Brian does a great job though.

It is a pity this wasn't released until recently. It may have brought some attention to them when they were recording for RCA. It could have been popular on the underground stations as "Lord of the Manor" was.

I prefer this version to the one released on 45. It is not "overproduced" as I thought the 45 was. This is more natural and "common" sounding.
