Remembrance - British Maymo Cemetery, Burma (Pyin U Lwin)

When I was travelling around Burma, I came across this cemetery in the hilltop garrison town of Pyin U Lwin, also known as Maymo in the Burmese Days. Records of graves lie at the British Association for Cemeteries in South Asia.

Put together this, to share the images, and raise awareness. The headstones are still there, many have collapsed, and the cemetery is not well kept, with children playing in there in the cool evenings. Show less
