I am John Brant and I was born on a farm in Rhode Island. As a teenager I grew to love anything to do with music and flying. So after high school, not knowing what to do with myself, I joined the US Army Air corps. It was a different experience than I anticipated. I did get to learn a lot about airports, flying etc. and I also got to travel the US and Europe.
After the military I started college full time. I was not alone. I now had my life long companion and two little rug rats by my side to cheer me on. Working nights full time and teaching drums on the weekends and playing for different local bands made time management difficult, but like all things in life, I learned if you want something there is always a way to achieve it. Thanks for all of my families support.
Ed, a high school friend of mine approached me about selling for Metropolitan Life. I had no idea what it was about but fortunately I did I learn quickly and actually earned the rookie of the year award.
I eventually wanted to go it on my own. After the first 3 years I left Met and started building my career as an independent broker. No regrets, I was lucky enough to have it all. I lived a very comfortable life and had a family that loved and cared for me. Nothing much else is needed.
In 2000, because of a serious illness I was forced to retire early. It drove me nuts so I eventually turned to working online. My objective was to work when I wanted from my home and to connect with people in the business community. As a newbie it took me forever to learn what initially seemed to be complicated marketing systems. A year later I almost have as much knowledge about surviving online as my young grandkids. Almost!
I wanted to be involved in a business that is not MLM and does not offer a physical product. A business where I didn't chase anyone to buy from me. I just wanted to offer what ever I decided to sell and anyone who ever had interest could join and follow along. I knew others before me must have had the same feelings so I set out to find someone who already created a duplicateible business model, a system that worked.
After months of due diligence and searching I decided the group I wanted to build my online business with is the Rob Abrams Group. An organization very involved in the community and a group whose culture believes Paying It Forward is a way of life. They have been actively online for years with a fine record of success and all have developed and tested all the tools and tutorials anyone needs to succeed.
