I have prepared a KARAOKE video of "Wasure-naide(忘れないで) -time to say goodbyeー" sung by Kohji Suzuki (鈴木幸治).
Please enjyoy "忘れないで" in both vocal and piano. 　

Kohji(幸治), his birth name being Kohji Suzuki (鈴木幸治), is a Japanese singer, having over ten-year experience of singing many American songs, mainly Elvis songs, in the States up to a few years ago.

"Wasure-naide(忘れないで)", meaning please remember me forever, is a tragic love song of a young lady parting a beloved male friend.

This song was originally prepared for Teresa Teng （鄧麗君） to sing. Teresa passed away before Kohji had this WASURE-NAIDE come to life.

Triggered by the advice of a legendary guitarist James Burton (who was the leading guitarist for Elvis Presley and is still active), Kohji recorded this "Wasure-naide" and another song "Kikasete (聴かせて・・・)" on a CD from Crown Record in 2005 in Japan.

At Teresa's 10th memorial ceremony in the same year, Kohji enthusiastically sang Wasure-naide in the graveyard park where Teresa is sleeping in Taipei, in the presence of Teresa's brother Jim Teng and many others.

Kohji has responded to the great expectation of Araki Toyohisa (荒木とよひさ) and Miki Takashi (三木たかし), the song writer and the composer, respectively.

Kohji is currently fascinating the audiences with Teresa's and other songs, mainly Elvis, at many places throughout the country, including his hometown Mori-machi (森町) (this is also my hometown where I often visit) in Shizuoka prefecture. He is also on the local radio program of SBS in Shizuoka, and has recently started providing singing lessens as well.

When Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers made this an R&B hit in 1956, white hit versions were done by Gale Storm and by The Diamonds (of Little Darling fame). It was the Diamonds' first hit, at Billboard #12. Gale's was #9.
In the 60s The Four Seasons recorded it with many other oldies and had it on the LP "Looking Back".
