Being expert in both OSes and having used them for many years, I know that Mac OS X > Windows. But since you're a Windows Fanboy, and don't have much of a clue, I won't bother elaborating. Apple hardware is generally priced about the same as quality, branded Windows hardware, in the spaces where Apple competes. It doesn't compete in the low-end arena, no doubt about it, so if you don't have much money a cheap Windows box may be your only choice. If you have the money, Apple is the way to go.
BTW, the Volt project was begun by GM in 2006 under the Bush Administration.
Wow, the cluelessness of this Fox News segment and the Manhatten Institute (a right-wing shill) are absolutely breathtaking. There are so many things wrong with this segment and their facts that it would take a full page of rebuttal, but it's not worth the time....it's just politically-motivated nonsense that motivates them to make up stuff and bounce it around their little echo chamber. Smart people will check it out and and find out that it's BS and move on.
@SchlossOtranto That report is ridiculous right-wing trolling. Read the damning critique of the report by respected financial news site TheStreet (links can't be posted in YouTube comments, so just search for "volt government" at TheStreet's website....the first hit is the article).
It's actually an electric vehicle, a series hybrid, and a parallel hybrid, depending on the battery's state-of-charge and whether you're traveling at high-speeds (60+MPH). At normal speeds for the first 40 miles, it acts as a pure electric vehicle (unlike what is normally thought of as a "hybrid" like a Prius).
Looks like they just messed up the link in the video (or someone on the web team changed it afterwards).
The correct link is avocet.zoology.msu.edu
Lose the annoying green banner that leads to a video that has been removed for copyright violation!
Taping with a camera off the TV, with a massive hum in for an extra bonus....ugh, please.
Murdoch's heavy-handedness and Moody's "editorial memos" prove that there is not even the pretense of non-bias in the daily operations of Fox News. Other news outlets try their best and make changes when problems occur. Fox News doesn't even admit that there's a problem and cynically ignores its ridiculous "fair and balanced" claim. It's the Colbert Report, but without the jokes.
