About Me:
His childhood was filled with the airs of traditional music passed on to him by his grandparents. He has chosen to blend these with the more modern tones from the other side of the Atlantic, that he finds so enthralling.
In 2003, Joe Lington joined a gospel choir where he became one of the soloists. Drawn to the RnB and soul genres, he discovered his tastes through his idols (Usher, Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder...). Joe Lington decided to go down the same road, creating music which remained close to these great artists whilst adding his own twist.
He taught himself all this using computer music for honing his singing and piano-playing skills. His first collection of material as a singer-songwriter leads with the single "J'aimerais". It is a blend of soul and RnB portrayed by the warm voice of an up and coming artist.
