About JoeCollado
Award Winning Percussionist Joe Collado has sought and accomplished many goals in his life time. Using his God given multi-talented skills, music is the latest and proudest one of all. His lastest CD (Latino Groove Project//released on January 2012) has fulfiilled all his expectations. He credits his childhood experiences thru what the streets of Brooklyn, NYC had to offered as true survival and a awakening thru the Grace of God. A needed exodus also from NYC gave him a new beginning and opportunities that he was certain to take advantage of this time around. Playing Collegiate Basketball as a walk on help him also in supporting the finances for a college degree, leading to a career as a role model teacher. From a young lost Nuyorican to a well respected family man is what Joe believes life is all about. Everything else is a result of your labor from your God given and directed talents.
