MY NEW DMC3 RUN:

Yes, folks. It only took about two centuries, but I've finally started a DMC3 SS game :p I'm starting with Very Hard instead of DMD because I haven't SS'd VH mode yet, and it's good training ground for DMD mode. I've got three rules that I've set for myself during this run:

1. No damage on any mission
2. Must change styles regularly - no sticking with Trickster for 90% of the time
3. Must use Nevan sometimes <_<

Sorry, I haven't been around for ages. I haven't actually forgotten about this run, but I stopped doing it for a number of reasons, one of which I was going to give myself an ulcer with my perfectionism :-/ ... I do intend on going back to it, but I can't say when - I've GOT to get my head and body into some sort of order first, otherwise I'm going to drive myself slowly insane.

HERETIC'S DWD ALL-SS NO UPGRADES RUN:

Thanks are owed to ShadowStorm (arjan127 on YouTube) for uploading this simply brilliant run in its entirety. The run is summed up in the title. It's a DMD SS game with a start-from-scratch Dante. The no upgrades part refers to the fact that Heretic keeps all of Dante's styles at Lvl 1 and doesn't buy any abilities. The most amazing part is how enjoyable and interesting it is to watch, despite such drastic limitations. There's a lot of creative thinking which went on. Give some of the videos a watch. If you like DMC3, you won't regret it.

HIGH QUALITY VIDEO - It's arrived! (Kinda)

TST3 (True Style Tournament 3):

For those who don't know what TST is, it's a DMC3 tournament, which showcases unedited gameplay from all 7 styles - Trickster, SwordMaster, GunSlinger, Royal Guard, Quicksilver, Doppelganger and Dark Slayer. TST1 was held in Mission 1 and TST2 was held in Mission 2, but this year the players have been allowed to choose their own locations, with the rule that they must clear the area of *all* enemies.

UPDATE: TST3 is now finished. Each round has been put into a playlist. There are eight playlists in total - seven for the 7 styles and a final one for the Free Style round. It just makes the videos more organized.

Sorry I didn't take part in any of the rounds. I had good intentions of doing so, but in the end I felt my contributions were so weak, I didn't enter any of them. If you still want to see any of my meagre DMC3 ouevre, then go here:
