The Man Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach) that walked the earth 2,000 years ago was YHVH God of the Old Testament in the likeness of human flesh.
The same God Who GAVE the commandments became flesh and kept them, referred to them, and told us to do them.
There is only One God. He does not have a split personality, commanding one thing one moment and condemning people for following the very thing He commanded the next moment.
We don't need to fear keeping His commandments...we do need to fear NOT keeping His commandments.
Who are you REALLY following? Don't be like the seed who "sprang up" - followed for a time - and then ultimately died. Don't be the branch that is grafted in, but then doesn't bear fruit, and is cut off and thrown into the fire. Don't be fooled by preachers of our day or yesterday. Listen to the words of YHVH...there is very little time.
Listen to this warning by Jesus: "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'" - Matthew 7:21-23.
We are saved by grace through faith - NOT by works. Nevertheless, we KNOW that we have come to know Him if we keep His commandments.
You can't just say you love Him. You have to practice what you profess.
Time is short...repent! He LOVES you! I can tell you it is a joy to serve Him...my life in Him is so much better than the emptiness of my life before.
