Our goal in this group is to bring awareness to the rest of the Youtube community as well as the writers of of the popular drama TV show, Heroes, that the fans wish that the character Nathan Petrelli (played by Adrian Pasdar) should not be "killed."
In the finale of Season 2, the character Nathan Petrelli, who has quickly become a fan favorite since the Season 1 finale, was left in an ambiguous fate after he was shot by an unknown assassin. To the current knowledge of the public, the writers of the show are still unsure as to whether or not to let the character "die" or keep him alive.
Fans everywhere have been left in an uproar over this controversial decision. So now, to bring awareness of the wishes of the fans, we are starting a Youtube group to voice our opinions.
What this group seeks to achieve is to prove to the writers of the show, Heroes, that Nathan has become a vital part of the cast, one the fans are not willing to let go. The character in question, Nathan Petrelli, has turned from the cold, sarcastic politician, to a man desperate for redemption after the decisions he had made in Season one. During Season 2, it was an absolute joy to see this character grow out of his hard shell and become a "truer" form of himself, one that acts on what his heart tells him and not what the public will think of him.
Nathan's relationships with the other characters on the show are also much too essential (to the storyline) to let go. From the deep, filial bond with his on-screen brother, Peter Petrelli (played by Milo Ventimiglia) and his rocky relationship with his biological daughter, the infamous cheerleader, Claire Bennet (played by Hayden Panettiere) to the hilariously adorable dialogues with the ever-present language barrier between him and time traveler, Hiro Nakamura (played by Masi Oka). If anything, Nathan Petrelli has proven himself to be a man of many values: brother, father, friend, hero.
This group accepts any kind of media (commentary videos, demonstration videos, music videos, personal recordings) that allows the everyday Nathan Petrelli fan from around the world to make his/her voice heard. As long as the material is appropriate, we will not judge the entries since we need all the support possible!
So we welcome everyone in the Youtube community. If you disagree with the possibility of our favorite redeemed hero, Nathan Petrelli being written off the show, then please show your support so that all our voices can be heard loud and proud!!
