@SlowY00 Me to. I'd never recommend anyone to watch it. Even harder to watch because it's deliberate and everyone stands around to watch his slow agony. Inhuman.

Anyone interested in the frontiers of piano playing should watch this. Take 2.23 for example in the right hand. Even on it's own that is next to impossible at speed.

I haven't listened to this for a while but :O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O rings truer than ever. My favorite bit is 5.06 - 5.09 but the whole thing is a scandalous talent. I don't think a piano has ever lived through something more mercilous from one player.

Reminds me of Chopin in places (an etude in F or F# I think)

This is definately the most difficult piece I've 'seen' Cziffra play on You Tube. Even if I could play those notes, my hands would have dropped off about half way through!

Just watched Grovesnor too. He did brilliantly - one of the best pianists around. However there is someone sadly noy around who is even better.

I'm really glad Cziffra and Hamelin hardly cross over in their material here so you get a much broader spectrum of fascinating pieces. Cziffra has Liszt and Chopin, meanwhile Hamelin has Alkan and Godowski - and they both do amazing improvisations. Imagine a duet!!!!!!

That was so much harder than you made it look. Your rhythm has fab.
