The Jewish Foundation of New York works to make this world a reality by providing education on vital issues...funding innovative programs and advocacy efforts...encouraging our members to view all philanthropic efforts through a gender lens.
The Jewish Women's Foundation of New York (JWFNY) was created in 1995 by a group of women who realized that only a small percentage of money that was raised by the Jewish community made its way to programs specifically for Jewish women and girls. Determined to change that picture, the founders set out to create a collaborative organization that allows women to exert more influence over how their donations are invested and spent. The Jewish Women's Foundation of New York is committed to addressing the unmet needs of Jewish women and girls in the New York area and beyond.
Recent areas of funding include domestic violence, genetics and breast cancer research, alcohol and substance abuse recovery, adoption, economic empowerment and Jewish education. We invite you to work with us toward these powerful goals.

Awesome!! You should all give yourself a pat on the back for constructing this organization. You deserve it :) Jewish followers have been blamed and inhumanly punished/blamed for hundreds of years with the holocaust, the black plague, the Jewish expulsion from Spain, etc. [ :( I'm filled with disgust whenever I happen to look upon these events.] Eventhough I'm Buddhist and Christian, I believe your cause is a true and righteous act of a pure soul and may god, abraham, and jesus bless you.
