About this user

In 1975, I began studying and practicing meditation and yoga. In 1994, while serving as campus Rabbi of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, I began teaching Jewish Meditation. Over the years, over 800 participants have joined me in experimenting with a set of generic meditation techniques utilizing principles of QM (Quieting the Mind), FA (Focused Awareness) and OA (Opening Awareness) and Mindfulness meditation. Based on interactive feedback sessions, conclusions were drawn on how to apply the diverse meditative techniques found in Jewish tradition (many only now revealed from manuscripts) in the light of modern research in Neuropsychology.
