About Me:
You probably won't see many videos of me here. Why? I guess because i live my life everyday out in the real world as my true self... I don't need video to accompany it.
Of course that doesn't mean something interesting won't end up here. :-)
I am an amature astronomer and believer in the "big bang" theory, evolution and possible alien intervention of existance. Everyday scientific discovery, learning and education bring us one step closer to understanding how we really got here.
My current setup is a 9.25" Celestron SCT on an advanced GT5 mount. Piggybacked with a 3.5" Celestron refractor. Computer control is from a Dell Alienware M15 notebook with Starry Night Pro 6.1 software., GPS and video capability. I use a selection of Plossl eyepieces/adapters from Celestron, OWL and GSO.
I unforunately don't get out near as much as I would like or want to. Living in Illinois is about the worst place in the world for viewing. I think this year, things are going to change. Big plans ahead!!
I also am a drummer, Have been playing... lets just say a very long time. I can't say I have any specific influences as I take a little bit from everywhere and make it my own. I am impartial to 80s metal, hair band and rock, as well as stuff from recent and today.
Current set up is a 9 piece Pearl ECX maple double bass, Zildjian cymbals, Evans G2 heads, Vic Firth 5b nylon tip sticks.
I am planning in the future to put up some drum cover videos... never thought I would become a "Look at me here on Youtube" person, but I have learned alot by watching others' videos, maybe others can learn something from me too. Musicians helping musicians!!
