@sunnycab5 I'm as frustrated as you are. It's become nearly impossible to find any fansites to discuss the actual show without having to wade through drawings, photoshops and ficlets of what is generally strong enough to be gay porn. I don't do the fanfic thing in the first place, whether it's ro...

What better way to get rid of boredom...SHOOT A SMILEY FACE PAINTED ON THE WALL! Apparently, John doesn't think it's a smart idea.

Something I've missed up until now- John charging up the stairs and into the room, unarmed, when for all he knows Sherlock's being shot at. I mean, he probably suspects that Sherlock's in there dicking around with dangerous firearms, but couldn't have known for sure. Damn.

On Sherlock as an addict, it's well worth noting context. In 1881, cocaine was a legal substance easily obtained. Cocaine and opiates (heroin, laudanum) were ingredients in MEDICINE. In "The Sign of Four" Watson, seeing Holmes drugged out, asking him if it's coke or morphine for him today (Holmes...

@mm0use It's johnwatsonblog.co.uk :) Apart from being insightful to what's going on in the series, some of the exchanges are bloody hilarious, from John flailing around at the beginning trying to get the hang of blogging, to him being a hostile bitch to his sister (she doesn't seem to notice/care...

The punching scene made it into a different trailer specifically for Scandal in Belgravia, so we know it made it there. Hmm. The only thing I can think of is Holmes' needlessly dramatic charades to gain access to Adler's house, so he can find out where she's hiding the photograph. In the book, it...

@ithelyn Yep, try online a couple of hours after it airs, but get in quick because the bootlegs will most likely get taken down as fast as people can put them up. I'm in a similar position, being in Australia, we don't get it until... I believe February. But the channel showing it here are so fre...

Incidentally it seems a bit of a paradox, which may or may not be addressed in-episode. Sherlock is aloof and standoffish with just about everyone, even his own brother, and wouldn't say something as vulnerable as that if he actually didn't consider John a friend.

@AmyJay1993 It's cool :) I think most of the fanbase has strong opinions on this one. There was another video where I had to basically say "John basically hits on anything in a skirt, and you're not willing to admit he might possibly be STRAIGHT?" lol.

@mushroomshrub I LOVE the Sherlock violins of death. Especially in the next scene where they're used in conjunction with the sublime piano theme that seems designated to John Watson. @kuaispeed It's known in Australia, too. The extra amusing thing is that, as someone else pointed out, the rhyme is part and parcel of a game you play with children that ends in you tickling them until they scream laughing! One does wonder (and this is reading far too much into it) that Sherlock ...

I challenge anyone to find a better example of laziness.
And I do like how John picks his battles. He doesn't actually refuse to fetch the phone (and cause a petty squabble), but he makes damn sure he does it in a way that's about two degrees removed from actually strangling Sherlock.

@Majka327 Even better, after "you don't mind, do you?" John has this helpless little "well-" flail of protest... and then Sherlock manages to change the subject to John's blog.
He successfully changed the subject. When there was a human head in the fridge.
I lol every time.
