Music:
The most memorable music experience I've had was approaching Boscastle (Cornwall) and hearing the evocative sound of a zither floating on the warm night air. Hearing the zitherist up-close broke the spell somehow. Other than that, the music and visuals from a Pink Floyd concert, Pulse, was astounding.

I like many kinds as long as it has quality. The broad Rock spectrum, some types of Jazz, electronica and occasionally classical music (strings). I like some New Age sounds as long as its magical and not insipid.
