This, by far, is the best version of "The Man That Got Away" that Judy did. It is relaxed. The pace is perfect. The voice is at its best. Listen to the note combination at 2:05 - 2:06. Perfect. If only it was in stereo, and in colour. Can't ask for everything!!!!!
What's with the inconsistent lighting. Is Judy on or off her mark. The vocals are fantastic, and Mort an excellent pianist. But why sing the same song three or four times during one year of a series? I love Judy, but I wish that she had expanded her repetoire.
