One day after school i had an obstacle. My obstacle was to finally step over this little pebble on the ground tht bothered me oh so long ago. It was carpool, i just finished chewing my bugles and i knew the day was my day. Having told my mother to park her Mazda G14 Bentley Toyota in the parking lot, i knew i had time.
I laced my shoes, brushed my hair and i walked out the door. The sun shined my face as I leaped the brick steps; I saw it. The pebble neatly placed between the grass shades, I took my first step. Landed it. Then- I took my second step, but just as I was about to complete it... My leg snapped.

Lying in a hospital bed, Dr. Napels informed my mother and I that because of the walk, my femur was split in five. Knowing this, I was ordered to go into surgery and have it amputated. "Oh NO!" calmly stated my Mother, "I love you like lightning!"

A year later after my surgery, Mama Bear decided it was time for a prostetic leg. With this, the pebble walk has finally seemed possible. But there was one thing... 2 weeks after my surgery, Mother and I moved three thousand miles to Graceland, hoping i could make new friends with other crippled children.
I was depressed and saddened at the fact I couldn't step over that pebbel. I couldn't eat, I lost enthusiasm to do any activities whatsoever. I spent most of my time looking at myself naked in the mirror, wondering what went wrong...

Til suddenly my mother busted open my bedroom door, shouting good news. "Baby Cub! I have great news!" she yelled. It was sortof weird when she started to hug me, knowing i was still naked.
My mother told me the news that because of her volcano insurance expired, we had to move back to our old town. Excited as I was, I put my pants back on and we took the first train ticket back.

There I was, standing in the cold sweat staring down at the grassy plain of the schoolyard. The pebble neatly placed between ferns like a baby between a mother's breast. I took my first step- the regular foot quivered on the grass. Second step- my prostetic leg wimpered, drawing a cold sweat on my head.
Three step- four step- five step- six. Just two more and I will finally overcome my obstacle. My Goal. I held my breath and went.

There. I nearly soiled myself. I finally stepped over the pebble...
Jumping and cheering, "YES!"
*snap*
My other leg went. I couldn't believe it, it wasn't butter.

So I went over the pebble, snapped my leg and now I have TWO prostetic legs. Though it sucked, atleast I finished my goal.
