Great picking Jeno' on this little tune! Was done here in the US around 1962 by a guy named Jimmy Smith. He was a Jazz musician with a "Pop" hit. I think it was on Blue Note records. Johnny Rivers also did a vocal version. Thanks for posting and great playing as usual. jeffs45rpm

The Carcano action was made from a very good grade of steel and was forged. The Germans chamberd many Carcano's for the 7.92x57mm ie 8mm Mauser cartridge which developed around 49,000 psi with many of the loadings. Worked fine in the K-98 and MG-42 machine gun and worked evidently OK in the Car...

This is an absolute classic the Great Marvin and Johnny tune now obscure but will live forever for those that can remember those days. Ahhhhh ..and the great sound of four track recording and tube circuits........vacuum that is....this sound can not ever be duplicated......ever! Great posting.....

Ahh...the old American Bandstand top 10 board! Can remember in the late fifty's running home from school maybe third grade or so at 3:pm so not to miss bandstand. Pat, I am a bigtime rockabilly fan as well as 50's, 60's tunes. I have lots on the early SUN ..Records. Perkins, Cash, Bill Black, Elvis, Jerry Lee, Moore etc. This is a great version of the " TRAIN". Chet's sound is awesome..and by the way, AWESOME..Picking...what a great guitar jam.. ty for pos...

Yea, that is Sad...The great lead of Bob Scholl was certainly awesome and they remain one of the great R&B groups of all time. Certainly Tonight Tonight on Herold is a Classic and will remain so...Probably forever! I had Chip Chip....which is awesome as well but now the video is protected or so...

Ahhh...the Great Danny Rapp with David White and the Juniors..on ABC. Schoolboy Romance was a great little tune as well. Not much airplay then..Flip of Rockn'roll here to stay. Sad though, Danny comitted suicide sometime in the early seventy's as I remember. Time marches on. jeffs45rpm fifty'...
