Grammy award nominated songwriter and two-time BMI songwriter of the year, Jeffrey Steele is a staple on Music Row. His gifts are lent not only to writing, but performing and producing as well. Jeffrey is keeping himself busy with his current album, Gold Platinum No Chrome and More Steele Greatest Hits Vol. II, released May 2007, and a classic album coming later this year. Jeffrey was recently awarded BMI Songwriter of the year for 2007 and BMI song of the year for, "What Hurts The Most". He received his first BMI songwriter of the year award in 2003 and was named NSAI writer of the year for 2003, 2005, and 2006. His country and A/C number one song "What Hurts The Most" recorded by Rascal Flatts was nominated for a Grammy for best country song and received a BMI pop award as well. Jeffrey also recently received the rare "Triple Play Award " from the CMA for 3 no. 1 songs in one year "Brand New Girlfriend" "My Wish" and "What Hurts the Most." He was awarded by NSAI for the same songs including the 9 week A/C no. 1 for "What Hurts The Most".

There is no stopping Jeffrey Steele. When not writing he can be found producing and performing. Jeffrey lent his producing skills on the Montgomery Gentry album My Town, and Some People Change and Keith Anderson's album Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll. He recently produced Keith Anderson's new album, C'MON!. Jeffrey also spends time on the road promoting his own material and playing dates with such artists as; VanZant, Delbert McClinton, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. While he's back in Nashville writing, he is also running his publishing company 3 Ring Circus Music and it's hit writers who have recently enjoyed success with "My Wish", "Brand New Girlfriend", "Help Somebody" and "Everytime I Hear Your Name". Jeffrey can also be seen on GAC's, THE HITMEN OF MUSIC ROW, which chronicles the lives of four chart-topping Nashville songwriters.

The former lead singer of the group Boy Howdy moved to Nashville in 1994. His love for music stems all the way from his childhood. The last of 5 kids born in Burbank, California; Jeffrey's upbringing was filled with music from Led Zeppelin and the Beatles, all the way to Hank Williams and Willie Nelson. As Jeffrey continues to do his thing, he is continuously inspired by what's around him, always looking for the "next song."
