I mentioned the Stop Time on this level in an earlier comment. I discovered after not using the one in the Toxic Spire level of the Sky Dominion (it is in the same area where the gargoyle is) that it goes away between levels. So use it or lose it.

Pretty rich diamond vein there, though I think it was two veins joined together. Typically 8 diamonds are going to be found in a 2x2x2 block.

I would use two of them to make a diamond sword. You'll be able to kill mobs with only two blows.

If you've got 4 blocks of it, you can make a clock which will tell you whether it is day or night. You also need a single piece of redstone to make it.

I have plenty of it, having played for several months; I also use it for low grade armor, which lasts longer than leather.

I've turned two dungeons I found recently into traps. The grinder is just water in front of glass, instead of the lava over ladders one. Its slower drowning them, and the area below is lit up well enough I can safely go AFK and not come back to find the Game Over screen showing.

Creepers don't spawn in dungeons. Only spiders, skeletons and zombies do. I'm not sure if spider jockeys do, though. Whether it's by drowning, falling off cliffs, fire, or in this case lava, passive mobs have a tendency to kill themselves.

So far I've seen sheep walking into burning leaves, cows and pigs jumping or falling off cliffs, and one chicken getting incinerated in a lava flow.

This was fixed as of the Halloween update. You won't find holes in the bedrock on maps generated after that point.

This same theme (the first part, at least) was used in the PS1 version of Gauntlet Legends on the Castle Barracks level.

At about 2:26 in the video, I encountered a glitch while playing this level as the Falconess on my Gamecube console. There was a Level 3 grunt just floating in the air above that point in the level, with no obvious way it could have gotten there.

Invulnerability and three way shots do last longer in the arcade version than they do in the console versions. I took her on with the green Archer in the arcade version with 2 three way shots, 2 gold invulnerability and 2 rapid fire. It took very little time to finish her off.

The key to obtaining the meal at the end of this level lies in the order in which you step on the footpads in the Runestone puzzle. Step on only 2, 5 & 3 in that order, and none of the others, and the meal will be yours.

The reason some of the Legend items don't appear to work properly in the Gamecube version is because there are bugs in it, which Midway has fixed in the newest version of the game.
