About Me:

Jeffrey Karl Hellman is a craftsman of poetry, percussion, performance, and production. Award winning poet, Jeffrey aims his words predominately towards the humanitarian crisis in Burma. As a senior in high school Jeffrey was awarded an internship at Crossroads Films and a partial scholarship to Ithaca Colleges Roy H. Park School for his film
Suppressed Freedom from the Matthew S. Hisiger Film Foundation.

Now a graduate with a degree in Film, Photography, & Visual Arts B.F.A., he is a spokesperson for the International Campaign for Freedom of Aung San Suu Kyi and Burma, a producer for World Dharmas Burma Project USA/Canada, a filmmaker for the Coalition Against Trafficking in Women, a video editor for MyPeace LLC., and a proud member of the US Campaign for Burma.

Jeffrey is currently co-producing/co-directing with filmmaker, Changhee Chun, Honoring Home, a feature length documentary about Burmese Freedom Fighter, U Han Lin and the plight of his homeland for MBC. Jeffrey believes that if we all come together united for an, International Campaign for Freedom of Aung San Suu Kyi and Burma as his late teacher U Han Lin said, Burma will be Free.

Nine Inch Nails Ghosts Film Festival

Description:

To expand the idea of the "Ghosts" project, Nine Inch Nails is inviting anyone and everyone to create visuals to accompany the album's music. In a few months, To expand the idea of the "Ghosts" project, Nine Inch Nails is inviting anyone and everyone to create visuals to accompany the album's music. In a few months, we'll be gathering the entries we feel are particularly exceptional and highlighting them. There are no rules to this - be as creative as you like. Create a music video, or a short film, or something completely abstract. Use only one track from the album, or use multiple tracks.

Join this group and add your video to submit it to the film festival.

Some tips and guidelines for video submissions:

- Prepare your content in the highest resolution you can, and hang on to the original files, in case we want to use your video for something beyond the scope of YouTube.

- This project will be going on for quite a while, so take your time. Please don't just submit simple image slideshows.

- This isn't a place to submit your musical remixes or vocal performances that don't include any video content - if you have audio-only creations using Ghosts music, please contribute those to http://remix.nin.com

- Incorporating copyrighted materials (clips from movies, unlicensed stock footage, music by other artists, etc) into your video might limit our ability to feature it in the future. The same goes for filming of people or locations without their permission. Anything goes on YouTube, but we'll have to play by the rules for other outlets, so if you want your video to be eligible for anything we come up with in the future, make sure its content is fully cleared.

- Clips that are clearly not legitimate festival submissions (i.e. promotional videos for unrelated content with Ghosts music thrown over them) will be discarded.

- Make sure we can contact you about your video. Upload from your own YouTube account that you check messages on, or include contact info in your profile.

- Please don't submit multiple versions of the same video or very similar videos for several songs. If you really have to re-submit a new version of your video, remove the original from the group and note that your new video is a re-submission.

- If your video is rejected, chances are there's a good reason for it. Please don't continually re-submit the same videos.

- This is not a place for your videos of older NIN songs. Please only upload videos that include at least some music from Ghosts. (more)
