Hello, my name is Mark Eatough, I have been recording songs on 4-Track and PC for many years now.
I guess my music is synical, but in good humor.. I learnt to play guitar and write songs through listening to the likes of Pink Floyd and David Bowie, I'm not saying i sound like them, just that maybe my lyrical style is a bit more cryptic and less direct, I don't have many catchy chorus's or easy to remember hook-lines. It's not that i don't approve of that stuff.. i just find it hard to come up with 'the perfect chorus', so i usualy go for a bridge then a guitar solo (how modest) :) anyway, i'm going well off track here.
the songs on this channel (minus a few Pink Floyd tunes) are all ones that I have written and recorded on an older PC between 2000 and 2005. I have decided to re-record a selection of favourites from my "Bedroom Back Catalog", fresh and new for YouTube. Some of these I will make myself, but for the bulk of my postings I am hoping to rope in 2 of my best friends Tim John on Drums and Charlie Goodlife on Bass Guitar.
