I'm a 21 year old Film and Media Studies major at UCSB, and I've fallen in love with doing stand up comedy. I started back in Feburary, I was downtown Santa Barbara at Brick's Cafe on a Thursday night. I was just waiting for some friends while I was watching stand up comedy from the bar. I asked the bartender who runs the show, he directed me to Louise Palanker. After talking to Louise, aka Weezy, she decided to give me a guest spot at Rocks the following week for 3 minutes. I've been doing comedy atleast once a week ever since thanks to her. Louise drives all the way up from LA twice a week to run a comedy show downtown Santa Barbara, every Thursday night at Brick's Cafe at 9 PM, and every Friday at Rocks at 8 PM. I've met a lot of great comics through Louise Palanker, and the comedy scene in Santa Barbara is improving a lot thanks to her efforts. She gives me stage time in return for promoting and preping the downtown shows. Through Louise I met Aundrey Belikov and Alfonso Ochoa, and the three of us help her run the show downtown every week. After three months of working with each other, we decided to start a comedy show in Isla Vista for the local college community. Therefore, I started a student club called Comics Anonymous at UCSB, and every Saturday night I co-run a show with Aundrey and Alfonoso, aka Hilarity Box Productions. Our show is growing each week, and we're creating a safe and fun environment for college students to enjoy stand up comedy, and still have time to go party afterwards. Every week our show features great headliners, including Paul Ogata, Sam Tripoli, Bret Ernst, Sebastian Maniscalco, and Erik Girffin, and they've all done an amazing job.

I enjoy performing and watching stand up comedy. I'm a big film buff, I love all types of films. I also like to go outside and have fun. I enjoy swimming, running, hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, skiing/snowboarding, wakeboarding, skateboarding, frisbee, football, basketball, white water rafting, kayaking, golfing, bowling, and playing bass and electric guitar. Dancing the night away, and having a great time.
