"Music is my platform to change the world" she says. A self taught guitarist and songwriter, Jeanette Hawkins chose to follow her dreams. With musical influences ranging from John Lennon to Sublime, Jeanette has been writing music from the first time she picked up a guitar at 12 years old. "I'm all about sharing life lessons and telling a good story. If I can uplift and inspire people with my music, then I can die knowing I made a difference." There were moments in my life when music made me shut-up and listen, and moments when it completely released the pain in my heart."
"Some of the best songs I've written came at times when I had no idea what I was doing with my life and times when I was completely broken hearted."
