Welcome to the jazz channel, a channel filled with a lot of jazz subscribe to cannal to experience the most famous jazz musicians.Jazz is a musical genre born in the late nineteenth century in the United States that expanded globally over the entire twentieth century.
The history of jazz is characterized by two main features:
First, both for their continued assimilation of other musical stylistic tendencies or culturally alien to him, for his ability to mix with other genres and create new musical styles such as rock and roll, which would eventually evolve independently from the jazz .
Second, by the uninterrupted succession of a large set of sub-styles which, seen in perspective, between some of them show tremendous musical differences.
Jazz is characterized by avoid the application of interpretations from faithful reading of a score (though many jazz musicians to master the language of music): the basis of interpretation and style of jazz is improvisation. In any case, except to free jazz or some jam session (which usually happens from not working on any matter already known), means that the interpreter improvise freely recreates the theme in each performance on a particular harmonic structure, either in public or in a recording studio: the melody serves as the main theme and idea for a possible interpretation. In this sense, jazz music focuses more on the performer than the composer.
Improvisation is an essential difference from other styles of jazz music in the Western musical tradition, like European classical music. In this sense, jazz recovered in Western music improvisation as musical essence, like in most musical traditions of non-European, especially African rhythms, with predominant use of syncopation and certain orchestras.
