Name comes from my desire and will to dance. Raised for the most part in New Zealand now residing in California USA.

Strong background in Capoeira(Brazil Martial Arts) and Tae kwon do. Dance skills include mainstream hip hop dance routines/break dancing combining the art of Capoeira and some gymnastics. I have used these various art forms and fused it into my dance routines ...as well that makes for some explosive visuals.

At a very young age I began dancing. I was always intrigued by the spirit and energy behind dance and was always drawn to it.

In the late 90's I joined a small local dance group in the Bay Area named HUM EK. Led by AJAX (Ajen Johan my brother). Early on I was shown the ropes of entertainment in the local scene here in California. I had always carried this rebelious edge over my shoulders. Always jumping into dance battles. Always trying to defy odds. I always looked at myself as an underdog with something to prove. This was something he helped me control and shaped me into how I grew. With time, the band went through various trials and tribulations. Left with only AJAX and myself to carry on the "band", we faced the realities of life and saw how our priorities change as life happened fast. Eventually AJAX also found a new avenue to life. I had a decision to make at a point where I could have given up. To see this all end, or go with my inner gut instinct and carry on in this path. To take music at a level that may never have been tapped by the group. Hence I emerged a solo artist.

However I was not convinced that dance was the only way out. Although it is my weapon on and off the streets, I realized in order to mash up and stand out amongst other local artists, dance just didnt cut it. I had to find a singing voice.

Ever since my solo start in 2010 I have found a brother like in my vocal coach ,Simon Russel, who resides in California as well - a mentor in my musical path. He has given me enough tools to find my vocals as I continue strengthening my voice. We practice vocals every month as I look to create new sounds and vibe.

In 2011 I was introduced to a mastermind video producer Shaniel Deo ( Copra Shed Films). He has worked with mainstream artists like Bohemia and RDB and has also done video work for them. Copra Shed Films and I now have teamed up to create a spectacular portfolio of videos that include "Outta Control" (which got play time on California Music Channel), "Move Your Body" and now my latest work "Doubting Myself".

I find myself heavily influenced by English/Indian artist Jay Sean and other UK/Candian/International artists - Culture Shock, Kashif & Bilz, Imran Khan.

My dance influences include Justin Timberlake, Usher, Backstreet Boys, Wade Robson and anyone whom I can learn from.

Going from a group to now being a solo artist has been a new and refreshing path. Faced with challenges and obstacles, I keep on going. I have built up a local fan base now and it continues climbing. I hope to achieve bigger things one step at a time.

The fans, loved ones and friends have made it all happen.
