Welcome to my channel! I've been surfing youtube since 2006, yet I've only just recently begun to utilize it to upload videos. This was my goal from the start of creating my channel, but it took me a while to get a good enough computer and editor to really dive into this. I feel so behind the times because of that. Better late than never though!

Most of my videos will probably focus on martial arts, but I plan to mix it up a bit with some other things as well. We'll see how things go as my editing skill progress. Still gotta find my niche in how I want to go about expressing myself here.

I am a student of The Way. For those who may not know what that means, I'll just give a brief explanation here. I am a practitioner of martial arts. To me, martial arts is a way of life. There is a saying made famous in the 2010 movie, The Karate Kid, where Jackie Chan's character says, "Kung fu lives in everything we do. It lives in how we put on a jacket. It lives in how we treat people. Everything is kung fu!" Martial arts is life, so being a student of "The Way" does not mean solely a student of self-defense moves. It means being a student of Life. A human being who is fascinated with the journey of self-discovery and self-expression. In that respect, we are all students of The Way.

I know some will ask, so let me go ahead and answer some frequently asked questions.

My ethnicity is half Asian (Korean decent) and half Caucasian.

Yes, Rainwater is my real last name! ^_^

My main martial arts discipline is Yoshukai Karate (and Kobudo) but I also practice other arts when ever the opportunity arises!
