That's okay, you don't need to apologize for it ^^ I know there is more than one way to stay in Japan but I'm not too familiar with university options is all. There are some people I know who don't go to college and don't even have a degree but can stay because they have a full time job that properly supports them and their situation and such. I actually have it much easier than most people but I can't really explain that lol!

I don't know what would be considered a good university that is also english teaching, but i'm sure there are also community colleges or something. But since you're asking for a university you're probably looking to stay in a dorm? It's hard for me to answer since it really depends on what the student is looking for specifically and what they can do to keep themself in Japan.
