My name is Janet and I currently reside in Denver, CO USA. I'm 23 years old and I have been self-employed for 2 years. The past 2 years have been quite a ride for me - both good and bad. However, with the changes I have seen in the past year or so (and especially in the past 2 months) I have a feeling the ride is about to get a lot bumpier!

I hope to document aspects of my life that drastically change during this economic crisis as well as ways to improve or tailor my life to fit my ever-changing needs. I will also be doing videos on my observations of changes I see around me and communication with others on this topic.

My YouTube videos represent me and the way I see the world as a 20-something woman in the United States. You will not see me rattling off dry economic facts, assuming economic facts, analyzing statistics, accusing others of anything, or engaging in conspiracy theory talk. While I don't doubt that some conspiracy theories are true, I don't wish to bring these thoughts into my videos. I am an "awake" individual, but talking about conspiracy theories just isn't my style. I have taken steps to prepare for emergency situations, and I will leave it at that...

I see an unfortunate absence of economic and financial opinions of people my age on the internet and in my own community - an absence that is from both men and women in their early 20's. This is why I have started making YouTube videos. I hope to fill a void and express my own economic concerns and observations with the hope that others of all ages will join me and allow us to help each other through the tough times that lie ahead.
