Jane Goodall has been my hero for as long as I could remember. Due to her efforts and many others, I have decided to become a ethologist and conservation biologist myself and work in a zoo and even out in the field (particularly with African mammals). Right now I am in college majoring in Biology and Anthropology and I volunteer at my local zoo. I love working with the animals one on one and I love studying their behavior and just watching them do what they do. They are so amazing and I love them all so much. Another aspect I love about volunteering and working in a zoo is that I could help spread the message of conservation to all our young visitors through animal presentations and just inspiring them to help save and conserve our precious planets wildlife. I am so happy that I have the ability to inspire children about animals and conservation just like how Jane inspired me.
