Chip's Challenge Highscores: http://www.jamesa7171.net

I used to have an instructional video about RS that was relatively successful, but youtube deleted it and then claimed I did it. -_- It won't be coming back and I've lost interest in making more.

Wow, the last thing I would have expected was for someone to be around to actually care .. lol.
I'm reviving/revamping my account, going to be uploading something different.

Oh alright, thanks. Checked out your site - good stuff man. Thanks for all the help. I might see about uploading a few bolds but I dunno yet.. don't have a great way to record vids on my computer so I'd have to film my monitor with a camera haha.

I mean what would be the difference in one player taking a route that involves, for example, going left 16 paces, down 5, right 23 (let's say there isn't a threat such as a creature to avoid - it's just plain walls and spaces to go through) and having oh, I dunno, 333 of 350 left, whereas another player got 332? I mean, is the fastest method to hold the left arrow for those 16, hold down for the 5, etc.? Or is spamming the button better in certain conditions? And I seem to notice in some cases the level will start you at for example, 399, then when you Ctrl+R it's back at 400. So what are all the factors that contribute to a perfected run basically? If at any point I'm being too much of a bother with the questions it's totally okay you can tell me to bugger off xD

Or wait, 96.

Ah, I see. I used to play Chip's challenge probably when I was about 8 years old (18 now) and I just found it a few days ago and reinstalled it. It's funny, I wasn't expecting to find anything on youtube let alone googling it, but then again I guess I'm not all that surprised that there's a lot of other people that greatly appreciated this classic. I've already tied some of the - well I'm not all that familiar of the terminology pro CCers use, is it "bolds" that means block time? - such as level 8 @ 17, 39 @ 17, and 50 @ 318, but I was wondering, is there any other manipulation of Chip's speed than simply holding down an arrow key?
