@longlove4u If it is a darker color that is easy to match the practice is completely acceptable. A little sanding down to 2000 grit and polisher will make the scratch invisible to unsuspecting eyes. But if you're using two friggin bottles YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!

@g4ebguy Its quite simple, really. more power = more fuel. you have to get all that kinetic energy from somewhere. Air+fuel is quite squishy so you can either push it though 5.0L or you can push it through 1.5L at higher pressure. As an extreme example, a Mitsubishi Evo gets 3 mpg on a track.

I think bike messenger is a cool job. Handful of messengers and ex-messengers I know are all down to earth and humble people. Its a low paying, hard job that is impossible to have without true passion for cycling. The 'king of messenger' might make 50 to 200 bucks a day but most of the messengers...

The poster is Japanese. Nevertheless in China, cycling is more of a transportation and necessity and less of leisure. Fancy carbon road bikes and spandex is something that most Chinese people haven't even dreamed of.

@Murcielago229 I have nothing against Supras btw, I think 2JZ with good tune is quite solid base for tuning and I happen to know there are good for 600 horses on stock internals. That being said I think there are just way too many fan boys out there making ridiculous claims.

pure magnesium is not suitable as a frame material. It is actually a aluminum alloy that has higher mg content (anywhere upto 30% as used in pinarello dogma). mg is extremely reactive to oxygen and therefore needs to be protected from the atmosphere. pinarello dogma has paint over ceramic coating...

i'm no expert but i happen to know that most epoxy resin used in commercial cf products cure at room temperature. its mostly the special heat resistant stuff that requires curing in an oven.

what's the seat tube angle you had in mind when you designed the bike seems like the set back is very far away i'd be interested to know. thanks.
