Ferry Ultra's remix package is just around the corner and hits the floors somewhere and beyond, but we were asked for more. So here we go with two more Dub mixes - one by Larse and the other by Mario Aureo.
Larse has already been part of the first remix pack, but people were begging for a less-vocal version of this bassy Disco-monster. Mario Aureo's Dub of "I Owe My Love To You" (featuring the voices of house legends Ron Carroll and Byron Stingily on the original version) gets deep with a wonderful pad-/string-arrangement. - Solid all the way!
On the digitally B-side we have three more Dub mixes of Autodeep's album track "Set Me Free". Label honcho Klaus Spitzner took over his Deepwerk guise and blesses us with a beautiful slow house interpretation while Peavey's Freefall Dub swings somewhere between Electronica and House, quite coltish! To complete it Martin Hayes timewarped his remix straightway to the 80s. We'll pursue a series of "For The Love of Dubs & Edits" and hope you enjoy it!
From the very beginning it was planned that Peppermint Jam would remain an independently-distributed label as German distributors, at that time, were more focused on techno and trance, leaving vocal house largely untouched. A key track in the label's hugely successful 18 year history was, of course, 1998's worldwide smash hit, 'Horny.'...
