@VettemanC4R Long term laser is better because being the tube holds out, the laser uses less power around 800W compared to around 5,000W from a plasma cutter, it's a much better cut, and there are no electrodes to use up.

I hope you're wearing eye protection. 500mw or more isn't a laser pointer anymore, that's a Class IV laser.. the scattered beam from those is enough to cause eye damage.
