Q: Any suggestions to help make List or Final Cut videos?
A: HD video (720 or 1080) helps...tough to make List with 480 or below resolution; Great originals have an advantage.
Less of me, more of them. This channel is dedicated to the artists. I love music.

Q1: Looks like a Billboard List for Unsigned / Independent artists; why?
A1: Thought it would help the artists and it turns out listeners seem to appreciate the service.

Q2: Your Top 100 list has more than 100. Why?
A2: Temporary condition while an update is in process. Only 100 seats available and when update is finished, only 100 videos will be on the list. UPDATE: Boy was I naive.
Q3: My friend Bobby asked today why I was qualified to do this.
A3: Recognizing I was being set up, I supplied the obvious response, "Duh, I'm not, I'm just trying to have a little fun and help some folks in the process". He surprised me and said, "Not true, you've made decent choices". After a full-court press for an answer (he's a relentless pit-bull), I eventually offered it might be because I've bought and listened to an obscene amount of music over the years (my iTunes library is currently over 108,000 songs with a backlog of CD's still needing import), plus, I have no bias towards or against any genre (I've found good music in all of 'em ... some make it a little harder to find great stuff, but hey, searching is part of the fun). That's seemed to appease him, but between you and me... I'll stick with "Duh, I'm not".
Q4: Who's your favorite artist of all time?
A4: Hook me up to a lie detector and put a gun to my head and I'll say "shoot me"; it's impossible to have only 1. Maybe 3 or 4 on any given day... but 1, "shoot me". Today I'd probably say, Sam Chatmon, Black Joe Lewis, Joanne Burns, Keb Mo, Beans On Toast & Sean Costello. 2morrow?

A5: Every dance hall in Texas, every club in England, every pub in Ireland, to the next Olympics, to the next World Cup, back to that cafe in Buenos Aires with the most amazing coffee and to Yorkshire to catch a live performance of Jen!

A6: Why would I use what tiny effect my insignificant channel can provide to help those that have already achieved a level of Internet stardom? [I've been told it is bad form to answer a question with a question, but hey, this is my channel!] Besides, I really am doing this to help all independent artists. Why not the worthy but not yet recognized like they deserve? [There I go again...? with a ?] :-)
