Not necessarily. I have a 2011 5.0 6MT with 3.73's and easily get 20mpg city and on long highway trips it's very easy for me to get 28mpg. I haven't seen many 5.0 autos that have been able to get better than 27mpg. It's all in your driving style. Your right foot effects the fuel econ...
