Growing up in the serene setting of Queensland's Sunshine Coast, JaeL's combination of influences vary as much as each members musical origins.

First established as Just Listen an 1997 the band experimented with many different musical styles and ranged in size from four to six members. By the time 2003 came around the band had evolved into its current format and with their distinctive sound and energetic performance won the Narangba Battle of The Bands. This led to their first single "Nu Hope" and subsequent record deal with Aisle 6.

However this was only the start of JaeL's journey and the band would go onto release a further 6 track EP "Infecting Your Mind" and embark on extensive tours of both Australia and America.

The members of JaeL are always excited with the direction of each new record, and continue to create thought provoking musical experiences that interlace powerful female and male vocals.
