I am the Vocalist of (A).P.P.L.(E). We are recording new material and hope to have a new record out soon to tour with! My life seems to have come full circle and I'm truly enjoying myself being able to sing my music again. (A).P.P.L.(E). originally formed back in 1984 when I was just 15 years old inspired by the peace punk genre that began in the UK. I'm very grateful for the wonderful response I've gotten from people of all ages who like my music and my singing. I sang in (A).P.P.L.(E). as a musical means to convey my basic ideas/views on life. The type of music I play is influenced by a variety of different musical genres. I love all kinds of music. Music is my passion and Raison D'etre in this life. I love to sing, I sing when I'm walking down the street, in the subway, in the elevator, or even sometimes in mid conversation! I'm like my own musical! My interest in music began as a small child and I've been pursuing that goal ever since.

I've lived in NYC all my life. Born & raised in Greenpoint, Brooklyn & still living here amongst the never ending gentrification. Always an outcast in my 'hood I ended up spending most of my life hanging out having a blast in the village & lower east side. Club hopping and playing clubs myself. I was heavily involved in the NYHC scene in the 80's and boy do I miss those days!!! CBGB matinee's and freezing my ass off hanging out in Thompkins Sq park in the winter by A7 and other such places. Seeing bands & meeting people that just blew my young mind wide open! I started singing for my first punk band, Direct Action, when I was only 14 years old from the winter of 1983 to the summer of 1984. I sang in (A).P.P.L.(E). starting in the summer of 1984 and played until October of 1988. In the year and a half that followed I took time off from playing in bands to traipse around downtown club hopping at such places like Limelight's Rock N Roll Church to The Cat Club. In January 1990 I was asked to join Word Made Flesh. We were together for about 9 months and released 1 ep on Squat or Rot records. It was after the demise of this band that I decided to follow a completely different musical path.

I went on to study Classical music in college where I recieved my B.A., specializing in music education and Early music. I've sang with The Colleguim Musicum led by the legendary Counter Tenor Russel Oberlin as well as winning The Emile Anders Choir award for my choral singing. I am a mezzo-soprano and have performed as an Operatic recitalist. I freelance as a voice/performance coach and am always looking for voice/music students who have the hunger and the passion to just go for it! Hey, I did and I can say that I've probably never been happier in my life. Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien!
