So YouTube has decided to force people to submit to the new channel design starting March 7th. Once that is done, there is no going back...ever. Really, there is not going to be an option to switch back to the old format (the one that you see here).

I know what you're thinking: "Who cares!? People are going to submit anyway!" Maybe for some, but not if these YouTube executives keep thinking that users, such as myself, are complete morons who don't know what YouTube or YouTube channels are really about. And it is NOT just those who are really opposing the new channel design that this guy is talking about (Noam Lovinsky, the one who is saying the quote); he is implying this to EVERY user here on YouTube.

Let me ask you this, YouTube, WHO has the right to be selfish, here? The customer, or the company? Because I happen to recall a phrase that tends to stick with companies who continue to be more successful: "THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT." It is NOT the company who defines the product, in this case YouTube, it is the CUSTOMER a.k.a. the users of YouTube.

Just like the SOPA and PIPA Acts, YOU have the power to prevent or change the outcome of this new design. The company thinks you "don't understand what YouTube is really about" because you are an idiot. WE ARE NOT THE IDIOTS HERE, WE ARE SMARTER THAN THIS!

I am just reminding the users of YouTube who has the power here. If nothing has been done about this even after March 7th, then I am closing my own account for good.

Yes, you heard me right. I, like so many other people, am tired of these corporate companies thinking they can take customers for granted, (aka calling people idiots because "they don;t understand,") and get away with anything they want when it only ends up hurting their businesses in the end. (Why do you think the recession happened in the first place?)

I'm sorry, but I will NOT conform to this. I like being able to change the color of the text; I like being able to make the background wrappers transparent; and, more importantly, I like to be able to see the background pictures I put up (which I know some people like, I have the comments to prove it). Plus, the old version has been much easier for me to navigate and understand. This newer version basically is a jumbled and cluttered mess. Yes, I have tried it, but I immediately did not like it, which is why I switched back to begin with.

As for me, I'm thinking of making my own website as I am currently learning web design to keep the videos coming. If anything happens, I will let you guys know.

Again, I'm sorry for this, but YouTube has finally pushed me beyond my limit.
We are smarter than this, people, YOU are smarter than this (it's called YOUtube for reason). Who defines the product: the customer, or the company?

More importantly, who defines YouTube? The company who makes it or YOU?

Seriously, though, do you guys really want to see less viewings of the interesting background pictures I put up for my channel? I hope not, because having a colorful background is more presentable than a blandish, grayish one that takes up 90% of the channel. (The one I have on now is actually a picture of a Morrigan Aensland skin for the upcoming Monster Hunter Frontier in Japan for the 360/PS3.) Please comment on the blog above to let your thoughts be heard. There will be a video on this before this channel either changes or goes away for good.

I REALLY don't want to leave YouTube because of something so small like this, but the fact that EVERY CHANNEL is going to FORCED to change, I can't stand it. I really can't.

I'm thinking of trying out the new "Zippcast" video site where it's like the old YouTube AND NO FORCED CHANNEL DESIGNS. Maybe I'll transfer there when the deadline draws near. I even managed to download all the videos I couldn't download before so I'll be able to transfer them there, instead. I'll keep you guys posted.
