At the age of 10, Jacob was accepted into the award winning Phoenix Boys Choir. During the duration of 7 years with the choir, Jacob had the opportunity to sing in two Opera's with the Arizona Opera Company, as well as sing at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York. Also with the choir, he toured all over the United States and in Europe. From 2009 to May of 2010 Jacob sang with the Ahmadi Music Group (AMG) in Kuwait where he played the Mikado in Gilbert and Sullivan's operetta "the Mikado". Also with AMG, he played the lead role of Giuseppe in Gilbert and Sullivan's "the Gondoliers". He also was a soloist in the world premiere concert of Gideon a Jazz Oritorio. During his time in Kuwait, Jacob did volunteer work for Green Theatre, which is a drama troupe for special needs and mainstream students from Kuwait English School. During the 2009 to 2010 season Jacob became the music director of Green Theatre and was the sound engineer for Prince Cinders a funny spin on the fairytale Cinderella. He also taught a music appreciation class to the special needs students at KES. Now Jacob is attending Dixie State College in Saint George, Utah where he is studying for a Music Ed. degree with choral emphasis.
